Support for Caregivers

Urban Brain and Body recognized the demands that can be placed on a caregiver seemingly overnight and how difficult that can be. As a family caregiver, you may find yourself facing a host of new responsibilities, many of which are unfamiliar or intimidating. At times, you may feel overwhelmed and alone. We are here for support and to help guide you through the caregiving process to make it easier for both you and your loved one.

We offer the following support groups for caregivers:

  • Parents of children with special needs,
  • Family and friends of wounded active and retired military
  • Young couples dealing with a lifelong or terminal diagnosis
  • Adult children caring for parents with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, or dementia
  • People far away from the caregiving team
  • Sandwich generation (care for a parent and for school aged children)
  • Employed and giving care
