DR. TONY FLETCHER
Dr. Tony Fletcher is a Clinical Neuropsychologist, licensed clinical psychologist and diplomate in Forensic Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology. Dr. Fletcher earned his dual bachelor degrees in microbiology and psychology from Arkansas State University in 1989. He then went on to obtain a Master of Science (M.S.) in clinical psychology and his Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1995. Dr. Fletcher completed his psychological internship at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago and a two-year Fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Illinois in 1997.
In 1997 he was hired as a Clinical Neuropsychologist for the Isaac Ray Center, LLC through the Department of Psychiatry and the Law at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center where he performed all types of forensic, psychological and neuropsychological evaluations regarding civil and criminal law. Dr. Fletcher began his private practice in Chicago in 2000 specializing in personal injury, medical/psychiatric/hospital negligence, competencies and insanity evaluations. Due to his reputation, he was soon hired as a Clinical Psychologist by the Department of Human Services of Illinois in 2001 and placed at Elgin Mental Health Center to evaluate reported cognitive and psychological in patients found unfit to stand trial and/or insane. Dr. Fletcher honed his forensic evaluation skills and is a well-regarded, sought-after presenter in issues relating to malingering and response style, clinical neuropsychology and fitness to stand trial. In conjunction with his forensic work he has maintained his ongoing experience with evaluating children ages five and up, as well as adolescents and adults in regards to psychological, academic and neuropsychological evaluations.
Dr. Fletcher has also served as a consultant for various hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, schools, businesses, attorneys, nursing homes and State and Federal governments and organizations. He is currently on staff as a clinical neuropsychologist at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
