Sarah Forsythe, LPC, CC-AASP

Sarah Forsythe is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Sport Psychology Consultant. As a health and wellness enthusiast, Sarah harnesses her passion to help each person reach his or her full potential in life.    

Sarah treats individuals with a wide variety of needs.  Some of these include anxiety, relational issues, grief, trauma, and sports performance concerns.  She utilizes a non-judgmental perspective in both clinical and sport consulting. While exuding warmth and compassion, she helps clients persevere through adversities and celebrate triumphs. 

After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree from Penn State University, she moved to Chicago to pursue her Master’s Degree in Counseling with a specialization in Sport and Health Psychology from Adler University. Previously, Sarah worked for a behavioral health agency implementing interventions in schools and homes for children. She also counseled adults at an employee assistance program. In addition to classical psychotherapy, Sarah has experience running a sport psychology program for an entire high school athletic department. Sarah’s previous experience has helped her become more effective as a psychotherapist.

As a Certified Consultant for the Association of Applied Sport Psychology (CC-AASP), Sarah utilizes a holistic, goal-driven approach to address challenges impacting performance.
